Nandi Ntoni, also known as DJ King Nandi, is a UK-based female DJ who has been making waves in the music industry with her unique style and captivating performances. Starting her career as a producer and presenter on radio and TV, she honed her DJ skills at Pirate Studios, training with the best in the industry. Her energetic and infectious personality behind the decks makes her a crowd favourite. Criginally coming from an artistic home, her mother was a producer and her father was a musician who's song "Thetha" was remixed by international South African DJ Black Coffee. Her interest in the music industry has always been there and she recorded a demo to kick start her career.

 

After shying away from the music, she found herself following her other passion in media as a producer & presenter. She found success in presenting at a youth radio station (Yfm) and a TV magazine show (Crux). She also landed small roles & appearances on popular telenovas (Generations) on South African screens. She eventually landed her own talk show on a community TV station called Tshwane TV and was soon offered a position as a news anchor and correspondent on a continental TV station.

Nandi decided to slowly move back into music and upon meeting Maurice Machi, she proceeded to recorded a couple of tracks with him, prominent ones including "Let you go" & "Never Lose", her first club bangers, which are house and dance tracks. Eventually she got the opportunity to open for a Kalawa Jazmee act "Candy Tsamandebele".

 

King Nandi’s music style is a dynamic blend of genres, reflecting her diverse musical influences. From House (both deep and commercial) to Afrobeats, RnB to Amapiano, her sets are a sonic journey that keeps audiences engaged and excited.

 

King Nandi’s skills have taken her to play at all types of events from corporate, Thames River cruises to British radio slots. She has graced the decks at huge corporate events by Conran, Superdry London, Samsung UK, and more. She has a genuine love for music and her goal is to always create a lively and uplifting atmosphere, keeping the dance floor packed all night long. With her exceptional musical taste and technical abilities, King Nandi is the ultimate DJ for any occasion.

 

One of King Nandi’s career highlights has been playing for the popular London event, Amapiano Link Up Party. She continues to wow the crowd with her skills and enjoys playing genres like House deep and commercial, Afrobeats, and Amapiano and more.

 

She has a genuine love for music and her goal is to always create a lively and uplifting atmosphere, keeping the dance floor packed all night long. With her exceptional musical taste and technical abilities, King Nandi is the ultimate DJ for any occasion.
